On June 8, 2018, Duckstein Restoration returned to Pittsburgh from the 20th Annual Contractor Connection Conference & Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana with two distinguished awards: the Nationwide Blue Hammer Award and the Contractor Connection Golden Hammer Top Performer Award. These awards recognize performance and customer service excellence in the restoration industry and we brought home the first two ever to be awarded within the state of Pennsylvania.

The Nationwide Blue Hammer Award is given annually to six contractors in the U.S. Each recipient represents one of six geographic zones with Duckstein Restoration earning its award in the Northeast Region. Our McKees Rocks-based business competes with thousands of candidates from Pennsylvania, New York, and throughout New England. Nationwide then selects the winners by weighing assessment criteria such as customer and adjuster satisfaction, the timeliness of completed jobs, and assignment volume from the previous year. Duckstein Restoration had more than double the volume of our competitors.

Contractor Connection is the largest managed repair network in North America, overseeing a network of qualified contract vendors that work with multiple insurance carriers. They awarded Duckstein Restoration their coveted Golden Hammer Top Performer Award. Being recognized as a top contractor in such a large and competitive field is a great honor. We are thrilled to bring both of these awards to Pittsburgh.
